Candidate Statement
I am running for the FIE PMC Commission to strengthen the brand of world fencing and to adapt our strategies to a modern marketing environment. My goal is that the sport of fencing continues to grow and that the FIE becomes an established brand across the world.
I see a unique opportunity to contribute to the growth of fencing by applying my experience from the PMC commission of Swedish Fencing. I also aim to bring the perspective of the younger audience.
My inspiration comes from my passion for fencing and for the opportunities the sport creates for different countries and cultures to meet. Fencing is more than just a sport, it is an art, a lifestyle, and I wish to convey this to the broader public.
My Contribution
My contribution will be the knowledge I have gained through my many years in charge of the communication and marketing of Swedish Fencing, during which we have substantially grown our reach both on social media and traditional news outlets.I also aim to bring the perspective of the younger generations and make sure we also reach them.
Make Fencing a Stronger Brand with Good Marketing Strategies
As a candidate, my primary goals is to strengthen the brand of world fencing and and to make sure our strategies are in line with modern marketing. I want to make fencing more visible and more accessible across the world.
I want to see the FIE continue to develop its PMC-strategies in line with the major improvements over the past years. I see a need for the FIE to enter new channels and to create new type of content which can engage also those who are not already part of the fencing family.
